Essencia Art Collective

Project Details

The Essencia Arts Collective believes that art can be a tool for social change and community empowerment. With members from across six continents, Essencia expresses itself from a unique and global perspective. Having over 10 years experience working in diverse communities around the world, the collective has run artistic projects with youth, first nations, refugees, immigrants, prison inmates, galleries, and festivals.

Our mission for this project was to design an organization logo, and to design + develop an information website highlighting the work Essencia Art Collective does, and it’s members.

The logo design was meant to capture the spirit of urban street art and was modelled after an Aboriginal medicine wheel. The website features a fully responsive multipage layout with multilingual loading capabilities, image gallery carousels, and page loaded animations.
